Kevin is the owner and founder of Path
Performance Coaching and Consulting. As a personal coach and consultant, Kevin specializes in coaching
individuals and organizations for improving vitality, successfully navigating change and achieving results.
As co-creator
of FitAdvisor™ and Vitality Coaching™, Kevin has helped thousands of people to lead more vital and healthier lives.
He has also helped numerous endurance athletes to reach and exceed their racing performance goals. His
interest in coaching grew as he realized that the processes of change and achieving results are the same in personal life
as they are in professional life. To further his mission of helping individuals and organizations change
and improve, Kevin has achieved a Masters of Science in Sport and Exercise Psychology with a specialized focus on personal
achievement goals, intrinsic motivation and commitment. His education and experience include advanced exercise
physiology, work metabolism, endurance training, sport conditioning, nutrition, mental skills training, and weight management.
Kevin has also completed executive coach training with Lore International Institute – A Korn/Ferry Company.
While
Kevin has more than 18 years of coaching experience, he has also held positions in financial services, accounting, operations
consulting and hospitality. Kevin has assisted small and large companies to develop efficient and effective operating rules
and practices, develop and implement strategic planning, design effective workflow and successfully integrate technology.
In addition
to his work with Path Performance, Kevin is currently President of The Lake Run Club, serves on the Advisory Council for the
department of Kinesiology and Recreation at Illinois State University, is the Diving Coach at Illinois Wesleyan University
and is a member of the Tri-Shark Triathlon Club. Kevin also consults in exercise science and nutrition
and serves as Senior Coach for First Fitness, Inc.
Kevin is a frequent speaker and
coach on the topics of vitality and velocity, personal change, performance improvement, physical and mental skills training,
physiological factors for sport performance and nutrition.
